The Department of Religious Education/Faith Formation offers a variety of enrichment opportunities designed to reach out to parishioners and deepen their faith as well as inspire greater appreciation for the rich Catholic tradition. Teachers, Aides, & Support Personnel are needed for every level and age group to share their faith, deepening the faith of others, and responding to our shared baptismal call to spread the Gospel with our lives. Catechists need to have received the sacrament of Confirmation, be over the age of 16 and be active practicing Catholics without impediments. Training is offered at the local parish and Archdiocesan levels to give catechists the confidence and guidance they need.
Our beginning program reflects the development of new and blossoming faith lives for children Pre-K through 5th grade. Students are placed in an environment with at least one lead and one assistant catechist per grade. Family activities and traditional expressions of the Faith make the connection to everyday living and the need to be active for Jesus in the world. Choice of class times: Sunday 9:45am, Wednesday 6:15pm
The teaching of our Faith is offered in Spanish to help maintain the unity of the family and community by teaching in the language that is spoken in the home.
A program designed for high school teens of all faiths to reach them on a spiritual, emotional and social level responding to their need to be loved and accepted. LIFE TEEN has as its central focus one mission: to lead teens closer to Christ by experiencing His power and love. Teens receive education, support and guidance in the environment of community - of peers, church leaders, parents and volunteers. LIFE TEEN meets Sundays 5:30-8:30 p.m. It includes Mass and a Life Night.

RCIA is the first stage exposure to Catholic teaching and spiritual formation for those people interested in becoming Catholic or entering into full community with the Church. Active, practicing, vetran Catholics, i.e. Sponsors, are needed to provide spiritual and educational support to the candidates.
RCIC and RCIT is a process for children and teens in 3rd through 12th grade that have not been baptized nor attended regular catechism classes. RCI prepares these children to participate in sacraments of initiation and healing.
The Spirit Life /The Edge program is designed to reach the middle school youth leading them closer to Christ at a time when so many negative messages are being sent to youth. It strives to meet the educational, social and spiritual needs of youth through interactive learning, offering them the opportunity to grow in their understanding of the Catholic faith and provide a time for community building. Spirit Life is available Wednesday at 7:30pm-8:45pm for 6th grade students or 6th, 7th and 8th grade students Sunday 12:00pm -1:00pm. The Edge is available for 7th and 8th grade students Wednesday nights 7:30pm-8:45pm
VBS is a fun-filled week during the summer, full of theme-based, scripture adventures for children Pre-K (4 years)- 5th grade. Children are immersed in the daily Bible point through music, scripture, story, games, crafts, food, video and more! Assistance is needed in planning, brainstorming, decorating and working the event.
