Alexander Rodriguez Feliciano

Alexander Rodriguez, son of Juan Ramon Rodriguez and Ana Maria Feliciano Pumejero (deceased,) passed away on January 14, 2017. He left behind a loving wife, three sons, his father, two brothers, his step-mother and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funds are needed for his funeral expenses and to help support his family, who were financially unprepared for his sudden death. Alex was just 39 years old.

Alex had a voice you could not help but listen to with awe.  His passion for music was evident in all the energy he devoted to his work, and in his big smile.  Alex will be sorely missed by SPX Conyers and the St. Pius X Catholic Church Music Department. He was an inspiration to us all, and his beautiful voice blessed our worship services in a way that we can never replace. “His singers” and all of his SPX parish family are grieving the loss of our much-loved friend and Director.

To better support his family, and to achieve his dream of using his musical gifts to serve and praise the Lord,  Alex boldly moved to Atlanta,  before he had secured work. He and his family were just getting settled into the area and into his musical groups at SPX.  He recently hosted an international evening of music, delighting us all with his ability to bring people and events together when his heart and mind were made up.

Alex previously worked at the Academia Christo Rey (Christ the King) in Ponce, Puerto Rico for almost 3 years.  As the choral director there, he and his concert choir won countless awards, even singing at Mass with the Pope in Rome.   To see some of his work there,  go to
